I am a mother of two and seldom complain about my children’s
stubbornness. But nothing else’s is harder for a mom whose child is suffering
from unknown illness yet. The child had undergone Cytochemical Stain Test for
Acute Leukemia last August 29, 2013 around 9:30 in the morning and is said to
be released within this week.
As much as I want to help, I’m afraid that even I can’t give
any financial support. Probably, just a small donation is all I can do. But of
course, it’s not enough. The child’s mother is my friend online. We haven’t met
in person but I know that she’s a kind person and is willing to do everything just
to keep her child with her. And I can’t afford to see her and her child
suffering from that kind of health issue. I know that you would feel the same
way too. And, all I can do is to ask for your help.

Skieda now |
|
Skieda then |
Skieda Eleijah B. Jose, daughter of Filamay Beboso (my
friend), had been diagnosed with blood infection called beta-hemolytic streptococcus bacteria last April 7-26 this year. She
is 2 years old and turning 10 months this September.
After months of follow
up check-up I thought her recovery will continue but last CBC+ Platelet test
last Aug 9, 2012- 2pm her result is High WBC 33.3 and 38 Platelet with Remarks
Blast = 0.42. I immediately called her doctor because of low platelet result
and she advised us to immediately have Skieda’s Hematology check. Before we
went to the Hematologist last August 10, we had her CBC+Platelet test again
7:30 am and WBC = 27.7 and Platelet = 27 and Blast =0.22; stab 0.02.
After that post, haven’t heard any update anymore from them
until today, my friend updated the group regarding Skieda’s condition around 2
am:
I woke up to change
Skieda’s diaper and saw this blood clot. Last time, even her platelet had
dropped to 2, we haven’t seen a blood in Skieda’s urine. It’s very hard here in
province since we can’t call for a doctor for such emergency. As a mom, I don’t
know what to do. I had informed the nurse about it already. And all I can do is
to wait since the doctor is not around. I hope things get better when she wakes
up this morning—so worried.
Around 8 this morning:
Little
Skieda complaints stomach pain. She is currently diagnosed with hematuria-
blood in urine.
Last Saturday’s CBC result (August 31, 2013):
RBC: 3.39; Hemoglobin:
91; Hematocrit: 0.28; WBC: 97.8; Platelet: 8
The child is currently admitted at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod.
Up to now, we don’t know what the child is suffering. For now,
they are in need of financial needs to support her medical needs. And if you
know some groups out there or charities that offer help to someone like on
Skieda’s condition, I hope you can recommend it to us. It would be a big help
for the child and to my friend.

well.
Thank you so much!
